ONCE A DAY, put three drops of oil on the scissors, (use only scissor oil) apply the oil between the blades, around the screw surface and at the G pivot that holds the blades together. This will help remove dirt and lubricate the chisel under the pivot area. Be sure to use only scissor oil, not clipper oil or clipper cleaner, as these products can cause damage to the parts in the pivot area. Oil and daily cleaning improves performance, reduces friction and prolongs sharpness.
